CentralBlue has been planned as a holistic 42-hectare precinct comprising 21 different residential developments, over 1,800 homes, a school, a shopping precinct with its own high street, a community center, and ample green open spaces.
The CentralBlue eState offers a diverse mix of homes for individuals and families from all life stages, ranging from studio apartments for single professionals to three-bedroom freestanding houses for growing families. There are also various ways to access accommodation in CentralBlue, including buying, renting, and renting to buy.
The first four developments in CentralBlue are now sold out, including Ochre Place, our first development featuring the Citra eHome. The first homes were handed over to their new owners in 2021, and the planned completion of the entire precinct is set for 2030.
Hi-Tech Security
CentralBlue’s hi-tech security system includes a dedicated 24/7 on-site security presence, an extensive network of CCTV cameras, and license plate detection on entry and exit. Drone patrols are operated throughout the day to provide an additional layer of security, streaming video footage straight to the security center. Optional panic buttons are available for all homes, linked to an off-site armed response team.
Cutting-Edge Connectivity
All homes in CentralBlue are provided with fiber optic cabling. In addition, all units delivered from 2023 will come with pre-installed, fiber-powered Wi-Fi units provided by BlueBunny Digital.
Convenient Transport Options
CentralBlue is located on the Hindle Road arterial route in Blue Downs, making it conveniently situated for anyone working in Cape Town, Kuilsrivier or the Helderberg region.
CentralBlue also has great public transport connections. There are existing railway stations close by, and a new railway link is planned between Kuilsriver and Blue Downs. There are bus services on Hindle Road and in the near future, the MyCiTi bus rapid transit network will be rolled out to Blue Downs. There are also several taxi nodes in the close vicinity.
Cape Town International Airport is just 15 km away, perfect for those who often travel by air.
